This Expedition Series red is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Negroamaro.
The grapes were hand-picked and co-fermented in oak barrels, and macerated for 4 months.
Cherry, blackberry, cocoa and dried herb notes stand out in this medium-bodied wine. This is such a versatile wine. The Negroamaro will pair nicely with red sauces, fish, and fresh dishes, while the Cab can handle big and meaty. Gumbo, pasta puttanesca, ciopinno, all of the above.
